Jennifer Prat, a white woman with brown hair

Jennifer Prat, LPCA, is a Psychotherapist (M.A. in Mental Health Counseling) and Doctoral Student in Clinical Psychology (PsyD) at the Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology with interests in twice-exceptionality, gender differences in assessment and diagnosis, the longitudinal impact of misdiagnosis, and the treatment of psychiatric disorders across the lifespan.

Jennifer is also a RYT200 certified yoga teacher in the Kripalu tradition with advanced training in pranayama, and prenatal yoga. When not studying or seeing clients or studying psychology, Jennifer enjoys practicing yoga, reading, running, growing vegetables, knitting, photography, and spending time with her family.

Jennifer’s work with clients is integrated and individualized, pulling from diverse approaches to provide care that best suit their personal and clinical needs.

Individual Psychotherapy

Jennifer is not taking new psychotherapy patients at this time.

Mindful Meditation & Flow

Using mindfulness techniques such as imagery, breath, and progressive muscle relaxation, meditation allows practitioners to learn to observe the mind, ground themselves in the present moment, and experience a reduction in symptoms ranging from stress and emotional intensity to headaches and fatigue.

slow flow yoga

Appropriate for all experience levels and populations, this class is designed to be relaxing and stress-relieving while still building awareness, strength, and flexibility.

hatha yoga

This class incorporates longer holds and more advanced deep breathing techniques (pranayama) to cultivate a mindful internal experience while physically challenging the client.

vinyasa flow yoga

This class moves at a quicker pace, incorporating vinyasa techniques to activate energy levels, strengthening and stretching both body and mind.
