When the sprinkler is going and the light is just right...
What can I say? She is my muse.
(Thank you Aunt Kiki for the beautiful dress.)
The holidays are a special time to focus (literally and figuratively) on family, though I admit the Doodle was the object of most of our attention. We had a wonderful few weeks of celebration here in CT. From a Christmas Eve hike through the lake, to a day full of pajamas, food, and family, we enjoyed every moment.
I just wrapped up my last Fall Mini Session before the holidays! It was such a pleasure working with so many families to capture little moments for them to share with their loved ones, friends and colleagues. There's something about a family interacting in a place that they're comfortable (instead of a studio) that really lends to creating loving, authentic images. I've shared some highlights below! Enjoy!
You might be surprised by how much happiness can be captured in just twenty minutes. In refined navy and goldenrod, surrounded by fall foliage, and in front of a rustic building in Easton, CT, the Bush Family came together and let their personalities shine!
Fall Mini-Sessions are still being booked through November 15, 2017.
Colette's first birthday party was on a beautifully sunny day at Artisan in Southport, Connecticut. Every session reveals a lesson, and that day's lesson was one that I find to be constantly reinforced: The best photos often aren't posed, but carefully captured moments that happen when you go with the flow and let the little take the lead.
I'm snapping feverishly, trying to capture all of these sweet moments with my daughter before they are gone.
Don't miss the opportunity for stunning family photos while spring is in bloom!
